Ron Reid has a Batchelor of Science degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. He and his wife, Heather, emigrated to New Zealand in the early 70s where Ron worked for an engineering company in Auckland. He returned to studying mathematics at the University of Auckland where he graduated with a Master of Science degree.

In 1980 Ron and his family emigrated to the United States residing in the Boston area. He has taught math at the college and high school level and got excited and involved with web design in 1997.

Asked if there are any similarities between math and web design Ron has been heard to say, "Yes, perseverance and frustration!"

Assistaing Ron with color combinations and graphic elements, Heather Reid (nee Warner), has the ability to see a color, hold it in her head, and days later match it perfectly.
